Services at Mission Oak Cliff


Mission Oak Cliff serves individuals and families living in Dallas County. Please provide your ID and proof of address to receive assistance.

Food Assistance

Monday - Friday from 1 PM - 3 PM

  • Mission Oak Cliff operates a client-choice food pantry that includes shelf-stable foods, fresh produce, and frozen meats

  • Clients may receive food 2-times per month

  • Mission Oak Cliff distributes food based on household size

Requirements:

  • Photo ID for all adults and social security card/birth certificate for all minors in the household

  • Proof of address (i.e., lease, utility bill, or 2 pieces of official mail)


Food Delivery

Monday - Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM

  • Mission Oak Cliff provides delivery of groceries from its food pantry, which may include produce and frozen meats

  • Clients who qualify may receive this service 2 times per month

  • Mission Oak Cliff delivers this food to families of Dallas ISD students identified by partner schools

Requirements:

  • Household must have a child who is a student of one of our partner DISD schools

  • Must be identified by the school as a family needing grocery delivery assistance

  • Partner Schools: Bowie Elementary, Rosemont Elementary, Garcia Middle, Quintanilla Middle, Adamson High and Sunset High


Clothing Assistance

Tuesday from 1 PM - 3 PM

  • Mission Oak Cliff provides clothing assistance for its homeless clients and/or for those who need assistance with business attire for work or interview

  • Homeless clients may receive clothing once every week

  • Clients shop for clothes based on their family size and all clothing is based on availability

Requirements:

  • Photo ID for all adults and social security card/birth certificate for all minors in the household

  • Proof of address (i.e., lease, utility bill, or 2 pieces of official mail)

  • Documentation of upcoming interview or letter from employer


Welcome Center

Monday - Friday from 1 PM - 3 PM

  • Mission Oak Cliff opens its doors to people experiencing homelessness in the community

  • From 1 - 3 PM, clients can receive a lunch, hygiene pack, emotional support, spiritual encouragement, and community referrals


ESL Classes

Tuesdays and Fridays from 9 AM - 11 AM

  • Mission Oak Cliff offers Beginner and Advanced level ESL classes twice-a-week

  • Courses are taught by seasoned community volunteers in a classroom setting


SNAP Enrollment

Services vary, please contact.

  • Community members wanting to enroll for SNAP benefits can receive enrollment assistance

  • A representative from the North Texas Food Banks assists clients in enrollment for SNAP


Counseling Center

Services are temporarily paused until further notice.

  • Mission Oak Cliff offers free professional counseling services to members of the community who are experiencing crisis, trauma, depression, anxiety, and others

  • Information will be updated once more information on this program is available.
